FAQ — Artists (hosts)
1) What is this format?
A lightweight, ticketed session (60–90 min) as a Talk, Demo, or mini-Lab. You lead process; we handle listing and guest flow.
2) How are artists paid?
A session fee or a revenue share (agreed in advance). Payment follows within 7–10 business days after the session.
3) Invoicing & taxes
You’ll invoice us as an independent contractor and are responsible for your own taxes in your country/region.
4) Who owns the content?
FEI TeamArt. If you allow a replay, you grant us a limited license to host it privately for ticket holders for a defined window.
5) Can I block replays?
Yes. Replays are opt-in by the artist. If you allow one, we’ll note the replay window on the ticket page.
6) Minimum enrollment?
We’ll discuss a minimum. If it’s not met, we’ll reschedule or cancel; you won’t be penalized.
7) What tech do I need?
Stable internet, Zoom (or similar), a mic/webcam, and any demo camera/overhead rig if needed. We’ll provide a quick tech check.
8) What can I teach/share?
Process, methods, and studio practice. Avoid sharing third-party materials you don’t have rights to.
9) Promotion
We’ll create a session card and promote; you’re encouraged to share to your audience. We’ll provide copy and images.
10) Duration & structure
Typical: 5–10 min intro → 35–60 min demo/talk → 10–15 min Q&A. You can propose variations.
11) Pricing
We set pricing together based on length, format, and materials. Sliding-scale can be offered.
12) Cancellations
If you must cancel, give as much notice as possible. We’ll notify guests and handle refunds/rescheduling.
13) Safety & conduct
We maintain a respectful, inclusive space. Hosts and guests must follow our community guidelines.
14) Can I offer Part 2/3?
Yes—when a session fills or requests continue, we can schedule follow-ups as add-on sessions.
15) In-studio options
We can list on-site talks or studio visits. Provide clear safety info, capacity, and any restrictions.
FAQ — Guests (students)
1) Is this a course?
No. These are single, ticketed sessions (talks, demos, or mini-labs). Join one at a time; add Part 2/3 only if there’s interest.
2) Do I need experience or materials?
Usually no. Each session card shows the level and any optional materials. Watching-only is always welcome.
3) Where do sessions happen?
Online via Zoom for now; occasional in-studio sessions will be clearly labeled with location and access notes.
4) How do tickets work?
It’s pay-per-session. Buy a ticket to reserve your spot; you’ll receive the live link by email after checkout.
5) I didn’t get the link—what should I do?
Check spam/promotions, then contact us via the page form with your order email. We’ll resend the link.
6) Time zones?
Times are listed in Pacific Time (PT). Use the “Add to calendar” on your ticket email to auto-convert.
7) Will there be a replay?
If the artist allows, registered guests receive an unlisted replay for a limited time. Please don’t share or download.
8) Refunds & transfers
Tickets are non-refundable unless the session is canceled. You may transfer your ticket to another person—just message us at least 24 hours before start.
9) What if the artist needs to reschedule?
You’ll get a new time or a full refund—your choice.
10) Can minors join?
Yes, with a parent/guardian present. Some sessions may include professional topics; age guidance appears on the card.
11) Language & captions
Sessions are in English; auto-captions may be available on Zoom. If you need accommodations, tell us when you book.
12) Can I show my work or ask questions?
Yes—Q&A time is built in. Share as much or as little as you like.
13) May I record or screenshot?
No personal recording. We share replays only when artists consent.
14) Accessibility
We aim for clear slides, live chat Q&A, and caption support when possible. Contact us about specific needs.
15) How do prices work?
Pricing is set per session. Some artists may offer sliding-scale tickets—check the card.
