FEI TeamArt, including ArtGPS. Last updated: November 2, 2026
This policy explains how FEI TeamArt (Feiyi Chen, doing business as FEI TeamArt, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) handles personal information on our website and on ArtGPS, our self-paced learning platform.
We use it to reply to you about classes or programs, create and secure your account, give you access to the lessons you are entitled to, save your progress, give feedback on your work, process purchases, send account emails (such as the one that confirms your address), and improve our teaching and website. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We share information only with the service providers that run our services, and where the law requires it:
They handle information only to provide their service to us, and their own privacy policies apply. Because some operate outside Canada, your information may be processed in other countries, where courts and authorities may be able to access it under local law.
Our website may use basic analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to see how visitors use it. These tools may set cookies to collect general, non-identifiable data like page visits and time on site. ArtGPS also stores small items in your browser to keep you signed in and remember your place in lessons. You can clear or block these in your browser settings, but you may then need to sign in again.
Some of our classes include students under the age of majority (19 in British Columbia). A child under 13 should use ArtGPS only with a parent or guardian, who creates the account or supervises it. For other students under the age of majority, a parent or guardian agrees to our Terms and this policy on their behalf. We collect from children only what we need to run the lessons, we show no advertising, and we do not give children a public profile. A parent or guardian can ask to see, correct or delete their child's information at any time. If you believe a child has given us information without a parent's permission, tell us and we will delete it.
Work you submit is used to give feedback and track progress. We do not show it publicly, for example in a gallery or on social media, without separate permission. For a student under the age of majority, that permission comes from a parent or guardian.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storing or sending data online is completely secure. If something goes wrong that puts your information at risk, we will tell you as the law requires.
We keep account and learning information while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise it within 30 days. We keep purchase records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing info@feiteamart.com. We aim to reply within 30 days. You may also contact your local privacy authority.
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for important changes, tell you by email.
